Heart failure is one of the most common problems in the United States and approximately 5 million people in the nation are suffering from this condition. It is estimated that about 550,000 people are usually diagnosed with congestive heart failure every year. It is one of the leading causes of hospitalization as well and is most commonly observed in elderly people over 65 years of age.
